Our always smiley son Jakob is turning 3 in June 2014.  He’s longing for having as much fun as his siblings on a bike.  Sadly Jakob is unable to ride a bike without assistance.  He requires a special-needs bicycle that is priced extremely high and not covered by a regular health plan nor insurance benefits.

Jakob’s diagnosis of Spastic-Paraplegia limits his body movements and mobility to a great extent.  He has yet to learn how to sit, crawl, stand or walk.  Because the Spastic muscles don’t allow Jakob to make regular movements, a special ability bike will allow him to not only ride it independently, but also feel part of the fun filled summer days with his siblings.
