Goal Reached 22/08/2013

Rebecca is 8 years old and was diagnosed with global developmental delay and autism and also experiences silent and drop seizures. She is a beautiful girl who requires a lot of support, especially as Mom has MS and another child with a disability.

Rebecca has missed a lot of school this year due to the drop seizures and self injurious behaviour. She wears a helmet and gloves for protection, but needs specialized seating to help calm her and allow her to participate in activities.

The Rfiton Activity chair seems to relax and calm her as well as allows her to rock, focus more and do more therapy. It also has an activity tray so she can have her own space when she needs it. The extra padding and harnesses are critical for her safety.

Keep Rebecca safe. Mom’s MS means she can’t lift Rebecca but the chair lowers & rises with the touch of a button and they would be able to eat at the table as a family instead of on the living room  floor & she could do activities with her brother and sister.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped us reach Rebecca’s goal in just 2 weeks. Mom is so very grateful!

This is amazing. Words cannot express our Thanks and Gratitude to everyone for their kindness, generousity, hard work and love. It melts our hearts and we are so excited. I showed Rebecca the pictures of her and told her that she will be getting the chair for home and she smiled and giggled. It brought tears to my eyes. May God Bless You All.
